ALEJANDRA

Restaurant Supervisor

Originally from El Paso, I moved to Fort Worth in search of new opportunities. My cousin shared a flyer about a job fair, which encouraged me to explore multiple company booths, and I was drawn to Deloitte University. While I initially applied for the Market Greeter role, the hiring team recognized my potential and offered me a position as a Barn Server instead.

From the moment I first laid eyes on the Bistro, I was mesmerized. After the pandemic, I was fortunate to cross-train all throughout Food & Beverage, in the Bistro, Market, and Banquets. The managers recognized my enthusiasm and offered me a position in the Bistro, which I eagerly accepted. Soon after, I applied for the Bistro Peer Trainer role and was thrilled to be selected. This experience further fueled my desire to get involved, and I participated in various extracurricular activities, including the Care Committee and associate events such as the Holiday Parties.

My journey continued as I earned a promotion to the Market Supervisor position, which taught me invaluable lessons and helped me grow as a leader. Shortly thereafter, I made a lateral move to become the Bistro Supervisor. This role has been instrumental in further developing my leadership skills and fostering my independence.
